At the start of your journey you choose your own Bible Dog: poodle or wolfdog, each in three coats. Give your puppy a name of your choosing and it is ready for the long, worthwhile road. Poodle or wolfdog, prayer or mental-health task: your new friend looks forward to every outing with you.

Your journey begins, as everyone’s does, with a small and thoroughly adorable puppy. He grows a little more with every day on which you appear, develops into a young dog, and finally comes into his own as a strong, fully grown companion.
Your own Bible Dog gives visible shape to the way your faith is developing. He accompanies you at every turn so that you never have to feel alone, and he supports you with genuinely useful ideas for your inner wellbeing.
And then?
Your puppy does not stay a puppy. It grows with every day you show up, first into a young dog, in the end into a grown one. What it looks like by then, we are not showing here. That part you get to earn.

Five tabs sit along the bottom of the screen. Everything else lives behind them, and none of it has to be hunted for.
Home
The home screen is your dog's own territory.
Welcome and growth
This is where you are greeted first, where you see your avatar's growth stage, and where the paws underneath show how many days in a row you have looked after yourself and your dog.
The paws
Tap the paws and you land in the calendar with its archive, where you can look back at past days. The days with a star are the ones you wrote something on the gratitude wall.
The treasure chest
The chest holds your virtual basket. With the credits you earn from the daily mental health tasks, the Bible quiz and the daily walk, you can spoil your dog in the credit shop with toys, everyday things and snacks. Once bought, an accessory stays in your basket – to collect and to love.
The Bible Dogs wisdom
The Bible Dogs wisdom, from Daisy and Fenny in turn, gives you a short nudge from the word of God, in paw style.
Your walk with Jesus
Your walk with Jesus holds the word of God as the verse of the day, a short prayer, a question from the Bible quiz (20 credits for the right answer, 5 for taking part) and the way through to the teachings of Jesus and the prophecies.
The gratitude wall
To make the daily thank-you easy, the gratitude wall is anchored on the home screen too — you will also find it in the Wellbeing tab.
Your day
Under “Your day” you find a small encouragement, your daily mental health tasks to tick off (5 credits per task) and your steps from the pedometer.
Your journey
Right at the bottom sits “Your journey”, which takes you back to the calendar, where your own road is kept.
Bible
The complete Bible to read, together with short summaries and explanations that make it easier to understand. You will also find the theological facts about the Bible and about Christianity that matter, with a quiz to go with them where you can test your knowledge and deepen it. Learn more about the life of Jesus, and about how to become more like him.
Your way with Jesus, to the truth and to the life
Guided paths through one subject, fear for example, that your Bible Dog may walk station by station at your own pace. Seven stations make up a chapter, and the first one is called “When fear comes”. Daisy and Fenny lead you through it in turns, you choose between a free level and a deeper one, and at the end a milestone awaits you with an extra reward for your basket.
Prayer
Prayers arranged by occasion, read aloud by your Bible Dog and there for you to read along with. You can choose the classic prayers or pick by category, so that you find exactly the words that fail you in that moment.
Your mental health tools, for your wellbeing
Treat yourself and your soul to a small wellness trip through the twelve tools in the Wellbeing tab, arranged by urgency. Tools for help right now, or the quiet care of every day: here you find what you are looking for.

It was built so that as much as possible is yours to decide. The stars in the background, how often you get a notification, or whether you get one at all. All of it is your call. It is your app, and it should fit you and your day. What annoys you goes. What you need is up to you.
The widget
Verse, prayer or encouragement: you decide for yourself what greets you in the morning, on the home screen as well as on the lock screen. Available in five formats, three sizes on the home screen and two on the lock screen, exactly as you please. Enjoy the word of God on your lock screen and the encouragement on your home screen, or the other way round. However you want it, the choice is yours. Wonderful, and made for you.

Basket and shop
The credits ✦ you have earned can be spent in the Credit Shop whenever you like. Spoil your Bible Dog with everyday things, toys and snacks. Everything you collect is kept in your basket. These credits can never be bought with real money; they are nothing but a small reward for your effort on your own way. An empty basket is a good basket too, and who knows, your first treasure may land in it soon.
Three languages
German, English and Spanish. Portuguese, Russian, Korean and Polish are planned. Chinese comes next and already has a website of its own.
Free and Premium
Starting costs nothing
A great deal is open to you free of charge: the beginning of every list, a monthly allowance, the complete Bible, the verse of the day and every one of the tools for your wellbeing. Premium opens the remainder to you. What you already have is never taken away again, not even if you decide against a subscription.
